I’ve been really into buying new denim lately. Straight leg, mom jeans, boyfriend jeans you name it but they have to be high waisted or I’m not interested. Yes, it’s a phase. I remember back in high school (’07 grad) that I only wore the lowest of low waisted jeans. I’m talking about the zipper not even being an inch long! Who remembers?
Today I wanted to share some of my favorite jean purchases with all of you. I’ve got a variety of washes to share at all different price points.
Levis $$$
These are the 501 straight leg Levi’s and damn are they good. I have a size 28 but should have gotten my true size which is a 4/27. They stretch ever so slightly throughout the day, have a great straight leg fit, the right amount of distressing and are very high rise (11 inches). The fit is flattering and they look great with so many top options.

Gap $$
A new found love of mine are these Gap jeans. I have on a size 4/27 and the fit is perfect: like a glove. The rise is about 10 inches which comes right up my belly button. The wash is what sold me. They’re the perfect light wash and great for transitioning into Spring time. They have very minimal distressing on the left knee, are a straight leg fit and very flattering. They are comfortable to wear all day and do not stretch out.

Abercrombie $$$
My last year and again this year, obsession. These high rise wide leg fit jeans I now own in 3 colors: white, blue and black. They’re so good. They’re so comfortable, don’t stretch out throughout the day, are so flattering on the booty, have the right amount of distressing on both knees and also come in 3 length options. The hem is raw which I love too.

Target $
High rise all Spring long. These Universal Thread high rise skinny jeans are so comfortable and at the perfect price point: $30. They have an 11 inch rise and the material is nice and stretchy. The wash is really nice and they also have some distressing on the knees.
