I placed an order recently with Shein and wanted to share my mini Fall haul. I went through each piece on stories and you can find that in my Try On highlight here. I’ve purchased from Shein for years and years and honestly, have been very impressed. The quality is not always top notch but the prices are so affordable that it justifies the purchase. Some pieces surprise me with the material and quality but my recommendation is to read all the reviews; they really help. Ok, let’s get to this!
The Shacket
The shacket, otherwise known as the shirt-jacket, is a hot hot trend this Fall. A heavier shirt material that can also be worn for warmth like a jacket. A perfect combination. The one that I got is a heavier material, has functional buttons and upper pockets and is long enough in the back to be worn with leggings. The cuffs are a little tight but once your hand is through, you’re good to go. The color is what grabbed my attention. I love the mustard color with the grey, charcoal and cream. The price is under $30 and I’m wearing a small. Remember, this is meant to be oversized so I recommend sticking with your true size instead of sizing down. I styled this with a white bodysuit, some distressed denim, a beanie and some combat boots. I love the edgy casual vibe and the shacket really makes the outfit.

The Corduroy Skirt
I’ve styled corduroy skirts in the past. You can see one here. I purchased a new one this year to update my wardrobe. The material is much lighter than traditional corduroy. I really love this shade of orange too, screams Fall to me. The zipper and button detail are functional and there are also belt loops. I wanted a skirt with belt loops to have options when styling. The length is great on me and not too short. I’m 5’7″ for reference and I’m wearing a medium (27″ waist) Styled 2 ways below.

The Dalmatian Pattern Dress
I saw this pattern and color combo and it was an instant ‘add to cart’ moment. The mix of the chocolate brown with the lighter brown is so chic to me. The fit is fantastic too. The back of the dress zips all the way up, there are belt loops for the removable belt that it comes with, 2 tiers on the bottom, a cross front detail and long sleeves. The sleeves have a button on the end so you can roll them up if you choose. The material is lightweight and comfortable too. I sized up to a medium in this dress and it fits me great. I styled this more casually, of course. Added a thinner black cardigan overtop and some black combat boots. A great contrast would be to add white combat boots to this look.

The Black Combat Boots
I have a whole blog post on how to style combat boots and you can see that post here. There are helpful tips and tricks to styling them, in the blog post. I picked these up because I loved the strap details. I already have a pair of black combat boots but they are much shorter. I really like the height on these ones. These boots are very comfortable to wear all day long. I ordered my true size, 8.5, and they fit great. There is a zipper detail on the side to easily get them on and off without having to un-tie the laces or un-buckle the straps. I have styled these all kinds of ways. See a few of my favorites below.

The Dior Purse Dupe
I saw this purse and it instantly reminded me of Dior. I think if anyone were to see this purse shape it would remind them of Dior, haha. The finishes could be elevated but I love how unique it looks. I love, love, love the rich dark chocolate brown color. The top flap portion is a matte finish which adds great visual interest. The croc pattern is repeated on the thinner strap while a bolder graphic is on the thicker, much shorter, other strap. Each can be removed and you can wear none, one or both straps. I personally love the look of both of them together. There is just enough room for a wallet, keys and phone inside. The inside portion has a zipper on top for extra security too.

The Scrunchies
Believe it or not but before now I didn’t have any silk / satin scrunchies in my collection. I picked up this 12 pack of brown shades because I liked the color palette. They will go with so much in my wardrobe. They are not the largest scrunchies I’ve seen but they are also far from the smallest. They’re a good in-between size that holds up all my hair just fine. They feel soft too.
