My Favorites From Evie & Co. Boutique

Evie & Co. Boutique is a women’s clothing boutique located in Madison, Wisconsin. Although their roots are located in the 608 (same as this blog!) you can still shop all the goodies online at Support your local businesses and help them out by shopping online during this quarantine. Evie & Co. is an Aunt and Niece power team that is bringing you new items each week! Trust me; their selection does not disappoint. I’ve got 6 pieces that I’m sharing with you today and I want to start with my favorite; this olive romper. Insert the praise hands emoji! It’s the perfect mix of masculine and feminine. The material has a great stretch to it. I’m 5’7″ and it doesn’t tug, pull or feel uncomfortable at all. I’m wearing a small and the fit is TTS. The length is long enough and covers the booty without riding up. The hem on the shorts and sleeves is stitched so it will not come undone. To get it on you simply unbutton, unzip and slip on. Belt is also removable.

I styled it with another Evie & Co. beauty, these peach sangria earrings. I love a peach and olive color combination. These earrings add the right amount of feminine flare to this look. The earrings are lightweight with a beautiful true gold, gold. It’s not yellowy or brassy like some golds. The string detailing is nice and soft too.

When I saw this next top I had an ‘add to cart’ moment. Crop tops are all the rage now and this polka dot twist front crop top did not let me down. The material is flowy and light, making it perfect for the warmer weather. Style it later too by throwing a blazer or cardigan over it. The front v covers everything it needs to and is not too revealing. There is an elastic scrunch part on the lower back which helps it stay in place. This top looks great with anything high waisted. Wearing a small and the fit is TTS.

These next 3 pieces I picked out to wear together. Starting at the bottom; these black elastic waist paperbag shorts are a must get right now. I’m all about this trend and my latest blog post talks about ways to wear these. Be sure to check it out. I’m wearing a small and the fit is TTS. These shorts are not as high waisted as other paperbag shorts I’ve worn but they still sit comfortably on the waist. The material is light and breezy, the shorts are long enough to cover everything, has functional pockets and the belt is removable.

With these shorts I styled a graphic tee. This killin’ it tee is so darn cute! I’m wearing a small and the fit is TTS. This tee is not super see through but a light bra is still recommended. I was amazed with the length of this tee! I regret not sizing up to be able to wear this with leggings. I really liked this tee because it reminded me how we’re all killin’ it. We’re going through this quarantine like champs and we’re going to come out stronger and more united.

To add a layer of warmth, since Wisco is still chilly, I added a light wash distressed denim jacket.  There are so many things that I love about this jacket. For starters, the length is cropped on me, not only is the hem raw but also asymmetric; double bonus, all the pockets are functional and roomy, functional buttons and the wash is great. Let’s talk about the faux piping on the front. Some denim jackets are boxy and bulky but with the vertical lines on the front it gives the illusion of a fitted jacket and it actually makes this jacket fit better. Wearing a small and the fit is TTS.
