How To Wear Shorts In The Winter

How To Wear Shorts In The Winter

The broken record is back again! I love, love, love to wear skirts, shorts and dresses all year long and today I’m going to share a look on how to wear shorts in the Winter. It’s all about the layers and cozy knits with this look. I love how it turned out, what do you think?

I purchased these faux leather shorts from Shein and couldn’t wait to wear them. I ordered a medium and could size down. They have a folded hem that can be unfolded, a removable belt and functional pockets.

The key to staying warm with this look depends on the nylons or tights that you choose. Mine are a much thicker material (120D) than a sheer black tight so they kept my legs warm. You could actually sub either the nylons or tights for black leggings and it would be just as adorable.

The sweater is a chunky pom sweater that I got in the Fall and compliments this look perfectly. You could also pair a solid color or striped sweater with this look. I recommend a sweater so you stay warmer but a more fitted long sleeve with a puffer or faux fur vest would also look so cute.

I’m OBSESSED with this outfit! It’s so so cute and I love the color scheme! I’ve always wanted to wear shorts in the winter, I just don’t have the right kind. All mine are strictly summer fabrics. Hope you had a great Monday!

Thank you so much, I’m glad you like the look! Faux leather or corduroy are great winter fabrics if you’re looking for a pair to wear this winter. Have a great week!
