Winter Holiday Home Décor

Winter Holiday Home Décor

We are 5 days away from Christmas, in case you didn’t know, haha! I’m all done shopping, are you? My family celebrated Christmas earlier this month with my sister since she came up from Atlanta for a wedding. My parents are headed down to Georgia for Christmas week so Sean and I are on our own this year. It’s a little sad but I’m also excited for new traditions.

I’m taking a week off from the blog so there will be no blog posts the week of Christmas.

The first day of Winter is officially tomorrow so I figured it was time to share my Winter holiday home décor. I decorate my home the most for Christmas. I have boxes full of stuff that I use like garland, stockings, holiday themed blankets and pillows and so much more. Check out my home photos below. I also added my front porch too.

We always buy a real tree. This year we went to Capaul’s in Waunkee. Our tree is about 9′ tall and fits great snugged next to the fireplace. Next year, we’re getting a 15′ tree and putting it in the vaulted area of our living room. We switch off year to year with where we put it in our house; no idea why but we do!

I found these red pillows at Target. The one with the faux fur is white on the other side. (pillows linked at the bottom of this post) I bought the green velvet covers at IKEA last year and I just love them. I found a very similar set on Amazon, here. I found the cutest sherpa blanket that is similar to the red and white snowflake blanket, here.
