Decorate With Me: My Front Porch Fall Edition

Decorate With Me: My Front Porch Fall Edition

I’m so late to the Fall décor game but better late then never, right! I’m usually so boring when it comes to decorating my front porch; hang seasonally appropriate wreaths and call it a day. I challenged myself to make it extra cute and inviting this year. We have double doors to enter our home but only use the left side. This allows me to use the right side as my decorating space. It’s covered but not completely out of the elements which is why I needed sturdy and weather resistant pieces. It also gets VERY windy in this area so any sign will be thrown around or get broken. Trust me, been there, done that.

I’m all for color and fun prints and patterns but I kept it fairly simple. My house is blue so orange and white go really well. Check out how the whole look came together below.

The wreaths are a couple years old but I found a similar one here.

Layered Door Mats – I chose to do the layered look because my front step is quite large. I knew I wanted an orange door mat but most are a standard size. I added the buffalo check doormat underneath it to add some contrast and to take up more step space.

Mums – I purchased mine from my local grocery store. They were inexpensive and very full. I re-planted them into square planters that I already had.

Lantern filled with pumpkins and pinecones – Loved how this came together. I already had the pinecones from previous years and just threw in some other colors like white and orange with the pumpkins. Glass covers each side of the lantern which keeps all the cloth pumpkins from getting ruined.

Hay bale – You can get these EVERYWHERE! I picked mine up at Michael’s for cheap because I had a coupon too. : )

Pumpkins in white, orange and green – Obviously you need pumpkins! I picked mine up from my local grocery store and they were really cheap. I liked the different shapes and colors of these ones.

Thank you all so much for reading. Until next time,
