When I think of Fall colors I immediately think of orange. Orange leaves, orange pumpkins, orange candy, you name it! Since Fall is upon us I have been on the hunt for a great transition dress in orange and gals… I FOUND IT! I found this dress at Nordstrom Rack for under $40. I ordered a Medium and it fits great. The material feels light and flowy but with the long sleeves you are covered up a little more for the cooler days and nights. There is a subtle plaid pattern going on and I love it. The pattern adds a next level execution to an otherwise boring orange dress.
Elastic on the cuffs allows you to move the sleeve up for a 3/4 look if you prefer. There is also elastic around the waist. The ties are just for show and not functional at all. The dress is double lined so it is not see through at all. The sleeves, however, are sheer. I love the keyhole detail on the front but you do not have to button it up. You can keep it open if you want to. Length is pure perfection for my 5’7″ self and goes great with lower boots / under the knee boots or booties.
I don’t normally shop the Nordstrom anniversary sale. I feel like I can find great dupes for cheaper but one thing that Nordstrom does so well with during the sale is Fall boots. I splurged this year and bought the Vince Camuto tall boots in tortilla suede. I ordered my true size which is an 8.5 and they fit like a glove. You could also get away with sizing up a half size. These boots also come in black and a snakeskin print, which is adorable and very on trend! These boots are an investment and you in NO way need this exact pair to style this look. Black boots are another great shoe option with this dress. I have linked a few similar boot options too.
Thank you all so much for reading. Until next time,
