I wanted to do this post today to give you a little daily outfit idea inspo. I’ve been wanting to do more posts like this to show you just how easy simple pieces can be to style. You can switch out the dress color here. Orange, yellow or even darker shades like green and purple would also look great! I’ve linked other dress options at the bottom of this post.
I love a good affordable look that doesn’t break the bank, is easy to style and wears perfectly all Summer long. Insert Walmart style! I don’t know about you but I love strolling through the clothing sections at Walmart even if I’m just there for toothpaste. I always find great staple pieces all at great prices. Just the other day I went in for cleaning supplies and came out with two muscle tanks. But they are not what I’m talking about today.
I searched through Walmart.com and stumbled upon a great dress that should be a staple in every person’s wardrobe. It’s a short sleeved, ribbed, body-con style dress in red (insert heart eye emoji). The dress is not see through and it’s pretty good quality material for $8. It was too cute to pass up so in my cart it went along with these polka dot denim sneakers from the Faded Glory brand. They did not have half sizes so I sized down a half size and they fit great. They are thin and will wear out before the Summer is over; guaranteed because of how much I will be wearing them! They were under $9 so I won’t be mad if I have to toss them at the end of the Summer. I’m wearing a medium in the dress for extra length and an 8 in the sneakers.
I’m adding in a new accessory to the mix and that is a new purse from Amazon. It’s 8in in diameter and is bigger than my last purse in this style. I love the handles to use this as a clutch but you also get the cross body strap option. There is a pocket on the inside and it zips closed on the top.
