If you’ve been following me for awhile then you know how much I love a good versatile piece. Anything that you can get so much wear out of is a staple piece in my closet. Today I wanted to share with you just how versatile a simple white button up top can be. Let this post be an inspiration to you and a reminder that you have endless possibilities with styling a simple top.
Look One: Let it all hang out

This style is a go-to for me. The top is fitted and doesn’t make me look boxy which is why I love to let it all hang out.
Look Two: I call this one ‘the wink’ (one open, one closed = one out, one in)

I really like to ‘wink’ my button up tops when wearing pattern shorts so I can show just a little of the pattern. This way you can see it but it’s not overwhelming with too much going on.
Look Three: Tie it up

Such a cute way to show off some high waisted denim shorts and a little skin. This style is flirty and fun.
Look Four: Leave it open

Use this button up as an added layer. Throw it on over a cami or tee. A great option if you are not comfortable showing too much skin.
Look Five: Sneak Peak

Got a cute bralette that you want to show off? Add this top over it to keep the scandalousness to a minimum. Go tonal as I did here or add a pop color bralette for more contrast.
Look Six: Tuck it in

Tuck it into a skirt, shorts or any denim. Pop on a cute belt that you want to showcase and you’re good to go!
Look Seven: Cover it up; a swimsuit that is

Being so light, this top makes a great swim cover up. Tie it in front or let it hang open. This top is a great option to take with you for any lake or pool day in case you have to go inside and need to cover up!
More ways to style this top
