Neutral Work Wear

Hello and happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a great weekend, I know I did. Summer weekends fly by in the blink of an eye so I like to make the most of them and keep busy. BBQ’s and photo shoots were on the agenda this weekend. I also made time to get out and have lunch with a girlfriend and hit the pool for a long afternoon. I share a lot more on stories on the weekends so be sure you’re following me on Instagram.

Today I wanted to share with you a business casual work look that is great for the office. I haven’t shared a look like this before and I found that I really like getting more dressed up. I hope you enjoy this look that I put together from Chicwish. Everything is linked at the bottom to shop.

I think white and tan in the workplace is sophisticated and seasonally appropriate for Summer. It’s says I’m lightweight but stylish at the same time. The trousers have a stretchy section on the back making them very comfortable. The front has two clasps and a zipper and they sit very high waisted. I’m 5’7″ and these wear like a capri on me. The pockets are functional in the front, with no pockets in the back. These trousers came with a belt that is the same color but I switched it out for a white one. You can see a close up of the belt in this video here.

The lace top has a button closure over a small keyhole in the back with tony pom-pom details around the collar. I really like the high neckline of this top. Adding more white with a belt from Amazon, clear bag also from Amazon and white block heels from Zara. These heels are so cute and I love the way they wrap around the foot. The material is plastic like and they need some breaking in. After a day of wear, they are good to go. The heel height is about 3″. I sized down a half size to an 8 and they fit great.

Thank you all so much for reading. Until next time,
