3 Goals I Set For Spring

3 Goals I Set For Spring

I hope you all are enjoying your Spring so far, I know I am. I just got back from a weekend away in Chicago with my husband and some friends of ours. I will have a recap post up on Friday all about it but first I wanted to talk to you guys about some goals I’ve set for Spring. At the first of the year I wrote about my new years goals for 2019. Those are still in effect but I wanted to take on more short-term goals so I set a few for Spring time.

1. Create more Lifestyle posts

Style 608 is a fashion and lifestyle blog and as of late, I’ve been slacking on the lifestyle aspect. I want to get back into posting more about my lifestyle for you guys. So first up is this post. So many more to come too! I had a writing session the other day and came up with 25 new post ideas in just 45 minutes. I’m so excited for what’s to come! Please also leave me a comment if there is something that you want to see or know about.

2. Create a capsule wardrobe with transition pieces

I’m notorious for purchasing random things with no thoughts in mind as to how I would style them, when I would wear them etc. My goal for Spring buying is to find quality pieces that transition well from season to season and will stand the test of time. Example: Just last weekend when I was in Chicago I knew I wanted to go to the Levi store. I’ve had my eye on the 501 Skinny’s for so long now and finally pulled the trigger, plus I got them on MAJOR sale. The slim wedgie fit jeans are also so good! They’re a quality denim that will last forever, they can be worn all year round and a slim/ skinny fit jean will never go out of style.

3. De-clutter

First thing that comes to mind when I hear Spring is Spring cleaning. It’s a time to refresh, revamp, clean and organize and I plan on doing just that. I plan on cleaning out my whole house and my whole closet. What will I be doing with all those clothes you ask… keep reading!

Decluttering my apartment is something I plan to do this weekend because it needs to get done. I want less things when I move out in a few months lol

It feels so good to get rid of stuff, I love it! I loved that about moving, I got rid of TONS of stuff and clothes. I hate moving crap I don’t need, what’s the point!
