It’s that time, the FabFitFun Summer box is here! I’ve had this box for about 2 weeks so I was able to try out a few of the products already. I will add my mini review into each section. I’ve been a member of FabFitFun since October 2016 and have been hooked ever since. You save when you purchase the VIP membership which is $175 for the year, otherwise you pay $50 if you choose to pay quarterly. You get 4 boxes (one for each season) stocked with full size products in categories like beauty, lifestyle, fitness and fashion, valuing over $200! $332.99 is the value of my Summer box, wow! To sign up and try new products click here and use the code BEACHBABE for $10 off.
Orlando Pita Play Atmos-Shield Hair Protectant Treatment Spray $34 was a select option and I chose this over the Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel $45. I have so many facial peels and masks that I did not need to add to that never ending collection. This spray helps protect hair against heat tools, UV and free radicals. It can be used on both damp and dry hair. The spray is white and threw me off at first but it sprays just fine. It smells amazing too. The scent lasts through heat styling.
Tarte Tarteist PRO Glow highlighter & Contour Palette $45 or the Tarte Tarteist PRO to go palette & Sex Kitten Liquid Liner $45 were the next select options. I couldn’t decide between the two so I had FabFitFun choose for me. I received the PRO Glow Palette and love it! There are 5 powder shades, 1 being a contour color, and 1 cream shade each very pigmented and beautiful. The highlighters in this palette are shown below and I’m so in love with them all! I can’t wait to play around with these contour and highlight shades.
Maji Sports Loop Resistance Band $15, A Minor History Post Script Wallet $20 or the Vasanti Brighten Up Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator $29 was the next group of select options. I chose the Maji Sports Band because I’ve needed one for awhile now. I recently did a photo shoot with Folsom & Co. and put this band to the test while doing yoga. You can see that post here and there are a few photos below. It worked really well but I have already lost this to my dogs. Came home after work and it was in pieces on the floor! NO!
Marianella Hawaiian Black Lava Body Caviar $48, Aromatherapy Associates De-Stress Muscle Gel $39 or the Erth Tu Y Yo Ring $55 I chose the body scrub. I should have also added the muscle gel too because it sounds amazing. In the selection section of customizing your FabFitFun box (customization is only available for VIP members) you can add the other options for just $10 which is a great deal. The body caviar is black in color and you need to mix the oil and scrub together before use. It smells like nothing really but works so well to exfoliate and leave your skin feeling so smooth and hydrated.
Summer & Rose Beach Towel $55 or the Yumi Kim Makeup Train Case $58 and I chose the towel. For this section you could choose which option you wanted in addition to the color or pattern. There was also a pineapple print option for the towel but I love the bright colors in the one I chose. This towel is made of microfiber so the sand falls right off it it.
Pier One Marble Ring Dish $15 I love the shape of this dish, the marble pattern is beautiful and the gold trim is such a nice touch.
COOLA Face Sport SPF 50 White Team Moisturizer $32 This facial sunscreen lasts up to 80 minutes and is water-resistant. This product is a moisturizer and sunscreen in one to speed up that morning routine so you can get on the boat faster! It smells like aloe to me and you need about a nickel sized amount to cover your face because it soaks in pretty quickly.
FOREO LUNA fofo $89 This product had its debut launch with FabFitFun. The fofo is a personalized facial cleansing tool that links your skin results to an app that you can download. There are sensors in the brush that analyze your skin and moisture levels to customize a cleaning routine that matches your skin needs. THIS IS NUTS! I was not even aware that something like this existed at all and now that I have one, how have I lived without it? It feels so soft on the skin and after washing, my face felt so clean and a little tingly. I’m starting off using this 1-2 times a week to see if I have a reaction. So far so good!
I do not recall putting this Sweet Water decor mug in my cart but it’s here none-the-less. I love the lashes on it and the white/gold combination. I have so many black mugs that I’m happy to see a white one. Holds just enough coffee to get me going in the morning and has a really easy open and close tab on the top.
Zoe Ayla Makeup Brush Cleaner was an inexpensive add on and I’m all about easing the cleaning of my makeup brushes. I tried out the spinner one last time and that was a disappointment. You can see that review here. I’ve already used this and love it! There are suction cups on the bottom and keep it in place on the bottom of your sink. There is still room underneath it for the water to drain. Simply apply soap to your brushes and clean away. No messy hands, no difficulty and it works so well to really get into your brushes to clean them. Just look at all those different patterns to really work around those bristles. It’s amazing, I love it and I highly recommend it.
I originally picked a Tarte Dry Shampoo but they ran out so they sent me the Tarteist Lip Crayon in the color Boho. It’s a great nude shade. Use it alone or under any other lip shade for longer wear.
BLAQ eye masks were another add on. I’ve tried a few different ones and love the way these masks make my eyes feel. I have dark circles and suffer from the occasional puffiness and these really help. They’re great to wear alone or with a face mask. These eye masks are a gel like material and feel cool to the touch.
Murad Hydrating Toner was my last add on. I tend to grab Murad products as add ons because they are a little expensive when purchasing full price. This toner smells like apricots to me even though it has cucumbers in it. There is a lot of product in this bottle and it will last me for a while. I did notice that there was an interesting scent that appeared after the mist was beginning to dry. It’s very refreshing and mists really nicely. Toners are most often used if you have oily or acne-prone skin. They add another level of clean and help minimize pores.
Thank you all so much for reading. Until next time,
