Masked Beauty Review

I received these masks for free to test and review. This post is powered by BrandBacker.

If you know me then you know how much I love a good face mask. I was so thrilled when these were sent to me. I received 2 out of the 6 different masks that this brand offers. The different masks are Toning Red Clay, Overnight Pistachio, Moisturizing Ginkgo & Oat, Soothing Rose & Peony and the ones I received which are Purifying Charcoal & Diamond and Exfoliating Coffee & Chocolate. In addition to the masks I also received the Silicone Facial Mask brush. There’s a good amount of product in these containers so these masks will last a while.

Masked Beauty products are made with real ingredients that you can see, smell and feel. Each mask has a specific benefit whether it be to brighten, exfoliate, purify, moisturize, tone or soothe. You can find these masks where you find real food and real ingredients; your local Hyvee, Kinney and Meijer grocery stores. IMG_9653IMG_9943

I really like the packaging of these masks. There is a silver liner that needs to be removed before use. The lid snaps open and close instead of unscrewing. The brush came in a separate little bag that keeps it clean when not in use. The brush is uniquely shaped and looks a little like a heart. It’s flexible and bends with the contours of your face for easy application. IMG_9969IMG_9966

I applied both masks at the same time in needed areas. I applied the coffee and chocolate mask across my nose to tone and exfoliate and applied the charcoal to brighten and refine over the rest of my face.

The Purifying Charcoal & Diamond mask is blue in color and you can see the little charcoal pieces in it. The smell is so familiar to me. I can’t put my finger on it but it is subtly floral yet really refreshing and clean. It goes on so easy, smooth and thin with the silicone brush. It has a cooling feeling when applied and you only wear it for 5-10 minutes. This mask does not dry or get hard, it stays wet. I like that this mask doesn’t prevent me from talking. Other masks that dry out get so hard and stiff that I can’t even move my mouth, let along say anything. It rinses off very easily and leaves my face feeling refreshed.

The Exfoliating Coffee & Chocolate mask is brown in color and you can actually see the coffee grounds. This mask smells just like chocolate and coffee. It’s a lot thicker and looks like there might be honey in it. It does not spread easily because it is so thick. It exfoliates so well though. I spread the mask with the silicone brush, wait 5-10 minutes and wipe off in circular motions. It makes my face feel tingly, fresh and so clean. IMG_9651IMG_9652
