Hello Lovelies! I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine’s Day. My husband and I celebrated the week before on the 8th because he had the whole week off to get started on our basement and we didn’t want to go out on Valentine’s night. We made reservations at the Tornado room in Madison. I’ve never been there before and I really wanted to try it. PHE-NOM-E-NAL. First off the bread they bring you is amazing, they have great top shelf cocktails and the atmosphere is so unique and mellow. The whole restaurant has a red tint to it and it feels very supper club like. Our dinners were outstanding. We both got the filet with a side of potato. The caesar salad was amazing, their hot bacon dressing was amazing and don’t even get me started on the pineapple upside-down cake we had for desert. Bottom line, if you haven’t been it’s worth going. We had leftovers the next day for Steak and Eggs and it was just as good. On Valentine’s Day we stayed in and made homemade pizza’s with a bottle of wine and watched CSI all night. My perfect evening. What did you do on Valentine’s Day?
Changing it up now that Valentine’s Day is over, I’m back to fashion posts. I have been dreaming of going back to New York ever since we left last October. You can see that travel post here. I love the hustle and bustle, the food, the lifestyle and the fashion. I have put together two looks that, in my opinion, scream New York. I’ve been eyeing the messenger hat and finally purchased one! I love it so much. It’s cute for those bad hair days and adds to the laid back yet fashionable style that is New York. It’s effortless and chic. Street style is what I wanted to capture. Easy yet stylish looks that you can wear around the city doing whatever it is that you want to do. I hope you enjoy!
What look is your favorite? Thank you so much for reading. Until next time,
