TNT Series: January

I’m back with another TNT series. It’s hard to believe that January is already over. I’ve been crazy busy at work during the week and busy with the blog on the weekends. Not too much happened in January; my husbands work holiday party, a few friends birthdays, I got a massage, read a few books and I tried a few new products. C`mon you knew that was coming. After all you’re here reading my January TNT series. : ) Alright, let’s get too it.

Some links are affiliate links.

SUPERHERO It Cosmetics Volumizing Mascara  – Larger size here. I received the travel size one for free on my birthday from Ulta. The travel size is $12 and the full size is $24. Let’s talk about the packaging. I’m not sure how the large size is packaged but the travel size box is such a waste. There is so much package for such a small mascara. The bottle itself is cute and tapered. The wand is structured and long so you can coat all your lashes in one swipe. It adds mega length to my lashes. I did not notice as much volume as this claims to give. It goes well as a top coat over the Loreal Voluminous Mascara. It makes my lashes so big, full and long. This combination I really love!

Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment I got this in my FabFitFun box. To sign up for FabFitFun, click here. This retails for $85 and you can get it at Sephora. It comes out green and smells a little minty and reminds me of the holidays. Once you rub it onto your face it smells like apple cinnamon. Lightly rub into your skin for 30 seconds and let rest for up to 2 minutes. This started tingling on my skin right away which it says is ok but then it started to get hot. I had to wash it off after about a minute. Make sure you rinse thoroughly otherwise there are little granules left behind that continue to exfoliate and irritate once you add any moisturizer. It works really well as an exfoliator but it scared me a little with how intense it felt. I did notice smoother skin in areas that I focused on and I’ve only been using this for a couple weeks. You get what you pay for with this!

Whish renewing mud mask – $48 I received this in a FabFitFun box and haven’t had the chance to try it until now. To sign up for FabFitfun, click here. This mask comes in a pump, just under the cap. It comes out gray and has a fine grain texture to it. I really like this mask because it acts like a facial peel in under a minute. Apply and move around in circular motions for 15 seconds to start. You work up to a minute. I apply this about twice a week in the morning after I wash my face. It’s refreshing and cooling.

NYX tinted brow mascara – $6 and comes in 4 colors. I picked mine up at Target. You can get it at Ulta too but it’s more expensive. I don’t have full eyebrows which is why I prefer a pencil so I can draw in a little thickness. I wanted to try a tinted gel to see if I could make my morning routine quicker. It does apply easily and quickly but there is almost no pigment in this brow gel. It didn’t do anything as far as adding color or thickness. Complete dud for me, don’t waste your money. The packaging is too large for this too. There’s a lot of wasted packaging for this small, thin brow mascara.

That’s everything for this months TNT series. Have you guys tried any of these products before? What do you think of these? Thank you all so much for reading. Until next time,

    1. Thank you so much!!! I love doing review posts like this. Anything you suggest I try and might like?? I would love suggestions! No problem, it was not worth it at all. I know Maybelline has a brow gel that is more pigemented (word on the street) maybe that one will be worth a try for you. : ) Appreciate the support love!
