Happy Monday Lovelies! I was so busy over the weekend doing photo shoots, writing posts, I got a massage, did all the household necessities and watched the football games with my husband. I’ve been doing really well at taking time for myself. It’s put me in a much better mood lately. I’ve gotten into the habit of leaving my house over the weekends to work at either Panera or Starbucks, get a coffee and a snack and enjoy being out and writing. I’ve even started a new book, The Marriage Lie by Kimberly Belle. I learned of this one from Southern Curls & Pearls. I follow her on all her socials and I know she’s an avid reader so I thought I would give one of her recommendations a try. Ok, onto the reason you stopped by today; a Valentine’s Day outfit for a night out!

I was browsing Target for ideas and inspiration and walked by this dress and had to do a double take. I needed it in my life! Honestly, I never would have looked twice at this dress online but since I saw it in person I loved it. This dress is sexy, mysterious, flowy, comfortable and light but best of all, it’s only $28! The bold red is an obvious choice for Valentine’s Day. I love the elastic in these sleeves. I didn’t like how they looked down so I made them into a 3/4 length sleeve. The length of this dress is perfect for my 5′ 7″ self but I added another 3″ to my height with these cute block heels that are currently on sale! I’ve linked the outfit details at the bottom of this post. Simple addition with a pair of black Baublebar earrings and another one of my grandmother’s vintage clutches to finish off the look. I’ve linked another great gold detailed clutch below. I like my hair up with this style of dress to really showcase the lace and sheer details on the top. The lace around the neck is such a delicate and feminine touch, I love it and I hope you do too!
