Welcome back lovelies! I did my first ever collab with my best friend Kelsie. Check out her blog kelsiekristine.com We came together to bring you different ways to wear larger scarves and how to style them. Her post focuses on 4 ways to wear a blanket scarf. You can find her post here.
I did a shoot with my Mer-Sea and Co scarf that I received from my Fall FabFitFun box. (To sign up for FabFitFun, click here) There are 3 colors of this cozy wrap scarf to choose from. This scarf retails for $98 and is the softest, warmest scarf that I have ever had the pleasure of putting on my shoulders. The temps in Wisconsin have significantly dropped and a warmer scarf is necessary. Below I am featuring 3 ways to wear this scarf; wrapped around the neck, draped over the shoulders to be worn like a shawl, and secured with a belt to dress it up a little. You can always wear this scarf fully wrapped around the neck, tied in front or even use it as a blanket. It’s that large!

The Mer-Sea and Co. scarf is a lot thicker than your traditional scarf. It can wrap fully around the neck but since it is quite bulky it becomes a little too thick wrapped all the way around the neck in my opinion. I like to wear it draped to one side as shown. It still keeps you just as warm but adds visual interest since one side is hanging down.
Wrapped around the shoulders is another great way to wear this scarf. It’s a couple inches shy of 2 feet in width so it wraps not only on the shoulders but down your back too, to keep you extra warm. This is a quick throw on look; the grab-and-go. I wear this style while lounging around the house reading or working at the computer.
Belting this scarf takes it to another level. Now it looks like a short sleeved cardigan. The belt makes this look so comfortable and cozy. Belting this scarf keeps you warm, keeps the scarf in place so do not have to keep messing with it and gives you the opportunity to add another accessory to your outfit. Who doesn’t love that!
Kelsie and I took a few photos together, check those out below!
