Happy Halloween everyone! I love Halloween; the candy, the movies and most of all the costumes. It’s so much fun to see the newest trends, the hot new Marvel characters and the youtubers paint a full skull face. The amount of talent and creativity blows me away every year. This year I attempted my own full face and I will be showing you all the steps I took to get there.
To prep my face I used the Maybelline master prime blur and redness control primer. For eye primer I used the Too Faced shadow insurance lid primer and blend out with my fingers. After primer I applied the Maybelline matte and poreless foundation with the flat top kabuki brush from Sigma. I used the Maybelline brightening creamy concealer under my eyes, on my forehead, down the center of my nose and on my cupids bow. I blend that all out with a damp sponge. To set I used the RCMA powder using that same damp sponge. I fill in my brows next using the Maybelline precise brow pencil. I set with a clear brow gel and that concludes the ‘base’ for my unicorn makeup.
HERE WE GO: (Products will be linked below and shown at bottom of post)
To start I use the Morphe 35C palette and a really old palette I got from hautelook.com. I start with the pink shades from the 35C palette and blend those right above the crease. Next I take the ice blue shades from the hautelook palette and blend that out all over the lid. On my lower lash line I use the yellow and green shades from the Morphe palette. After shadow I apply liner, mascara and I tinted my eyebrows with the purple shades. Using the BH Cosmetics 10 color professional blush palette I contour my whole face with the brightest pink shades. After contour I apply an insane amount of highlighter and loose pigment. The highlighter I used is the Marc Jacobs Coconut Gel Highlighter and I apply this all over my cheekbones and forehead. I used the Bare Minerals loose pigment and applied all over the highlighter and on the inner corner of my eye. Last is lips. I used Hikari lip gloss in the shade Merlot with Gerard Cosmetics Rose Hill lip gloss on top. I used the same Bare Minerals loose powder to pat some on my lips and thats it! Done.
