The Bralette

Hello and welcome to my blog! If you’re new, ‘HI!’, I’m so happy you’re here. Be sure to subscribe so you never miss a post. So, bralettes, let’s talk about them. If you’re not aware of the exploding trend, get out from under your rock and open Instagram, scroll through Facebook or flip through a magazine. There are so many different styles and colors to choose from and I’ve picked out a few of my favorites. I love a good mix of lace and scalloping, structured and sheer, racerback and traditional, feminine and sexy.

I love this burgundy color. I like the thicker strap on this and the fact that it has the traditional straps as opposed to a racerback. Since the strap is thicker I would want to show it off so I would wear this with a grey colored oversized sweater and pull one side off the shoulder. I LOVE the plunge V in the back. It’s good to have a variety of fits and styles so I would recommend this Lace Bralette from Forever21. Only $10.

Now to the bralette that has Instagram raving. The One Adella Bralette from Free People is seen everywhere. This bralette is a little more expensive at $38 and comes in 6 colors. I’m so in love with the larger lace detailing. I would wear this white one under a silky burgundy cami and a chunky grey cardigan. You would be able to see the lace detail from under the cami strap and I think it would be the cutest! I ordered this one on Sunday and I can’t wait to style it! I really like the feminine thin straps on this. It adds a delicate touch that goes so well with the chunky lace.

This one caught my eye because it has such cute scalloping around the top. I also really liked that it was a push up. For those of us less fortunate in that department it is nice to get a cute bralette that helps us out a little. Again, good to have some variety if the outfit calls for it. I would wear this with a silky black v-neck cami to show some of the detailing on the top. Pair that with a lighter colored knit cardigan and it’s perfect! This Soft Cup Push Up Bralette from H&M is $25.

Another style is the halter top. I can see myself wearing this under an oversized tank with a bomber jacket over. Add some joggers and sneakers for a feminine spin on sporty. This Cosabella Hippie Halter Lace Bra is from Macy’s.

There are quite a few details about this Free People Intimately Lace Racerback Bralette (sold at Nordstrom) that I really like. I was drawn to the framing of the collar bone. It creates a nice outline for the chest. The scalloping is subtle and doesn’t speak too loud. The racerback is another good style to have. I would wear this with a cute open back sweater so I could show off the back detailing. I would love to wear this with a burgundy scoop neck shirt with a little of the lace detailing showing on top.

Last but certainly not least, the bralette I would wear whilst lounging around the house. I see myself wearing this under a navy or black oversized off the shoulder sweater with my hair up and glasses on. I love the crossing detail on the back. It has the traditional bra look on the front, I love the V shape and this mint color is adorable. The Lace Multi Strappy Back Bralette is from Target for $13.
