Hello and welcome! I’ve had some time to try out the products in my Summer FabFitFun Box. If you what to know what I think, read on.
BKR water bottle $35 I was surprised at how much I liked this water bottle, despite it being heavier because it is glass. The pink silicone sleeve helped with gripping when it was full so it didn’t slip out of my hand. The opening of the bottle is smaller which I prefer. With the larger opening water bottles I end up spilling all over myself. I like this BKR water bottle because it is small and fits in my hand perfectly.
Juice Beauty, The Organic Solution, Smoothing Eye Concentrate $29 I brought this on vacation with me and it exploded everywhere. Word of advice, if you’re traveling with this, put it in a separate bag so it doesn’t get all over everything. The pump is nice to get all the product out. It feels light, non greasy, smoothing and doesn’t have a scent which I like. I have been using an under eye cream for a while now and switched to this one once I got it so I don’t have results to show you because my other cream was working really well. I haven’t seen any increase or decrease in results so I will continue to use.
The Kris Nations Mystic Bar Necklace $58 I think this necklace is the cutest thing! The clasp on mine gets stuck sometimes but that is easy to fix. This necklace falls just below my collar-bone and adds just a little pop of color to my outfits. I don’t think I would pay $58 for this but I’m happy I got it in my FFF box.
Eau Thermale Avene Ultra-Light Hydrating Sunscreen Lotion with 50 SPF, for your face $24 I really like this stuff. I used it the whole time on vacation and it protected my face better than any other face sunscreen I’ve tried. It is light, not greasy, not scented and effective. I mixed it in with my foundation for days at the beach and it still worked great. It didn’t make my foundation any heavier. I still had great wear and coverage all day. This stuff is a lot thinner and more runny than other sunscreens, which helped it mix well.
Cargo_HD Picture Perfect Highlighter in Bronze $30 I really wanted to like this but it does not work as well as I’d hoped. The color is nice and the formula is creamy and soft. It blends out nicely but does not give me the highlight I want. It’s a little dull. Overall, this one was a let down for me. The picture below is in front of a window in the morning with the flash on and you still cannot tell that I have any of the product on. I’m looking for shine in a highlight and this gives a very subtle glow. Still beautiful but falls short.
Klorane Dry Shampoo $20 I really liked this dry shampoo. I use one almost every day to freshen up or add a little volume. The scent is amazing and light. It does leave a white residue but that goes away once you run your fingers through your hair.
Michael Stars Ruana $54 I LOVE LOVE LOVE this! I lived in it during my vacation. I wore it as a beach cover up most days and a wrap on others. It’s lightweight and the colors in this wrap are so beautiful and vibrant. Perfect for summertime. It dried really quickly too.

Living Proof Frizz control Shampoo and Conditioner LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE! This stuff smells amazing, works so well in the humidity, the shampoo lathers easily so a little goes a long way and both are not greasy feeling. The conditioner is heavier which I was a little worried about but it does not weigh my hair down at all. I can go 2-4 days between washes depending on what I have going on that week. I plan on repurchasing in the spring and summer months to combat the humidity.
Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Dry Shampoo As I mentioned above I love a good dry shampoo. I am still using this stuff and I really like it. There is a white residue but that goes away once you work your fingers or a comb through your hair. It smells better than the Klorane Dry Shampoo I talked about above. This stuff doesn’t get crunchy or heavy. It’s very light and airy feeling and absorbs the extra oils in my hair better than the Klorane. I use less of this stuff which is helping it last longer.
Anderson Lilley Winter in Manhattan Beach lotion I’ve reviewed this stuff before and have repurchased many times. I would recommend trying this stuff out. Not only because it is very moisturizing but the scent is so calming and relaxing. It’s pretty strong out of the bottle but once on the skin it’s very subdued and fresh. If you purchase this through FFF you save $13!
Herbivore After Sun Aloe Mist This stuff worked better than I thought it would. I took it with me on vacation and used it every day. I didn’t get very burned on vacation but this stuff helped relieve my semi-burned skin and helped prevent peeling! I couldn’t believe it. There is some lavender in this too which I love. It’s lightly scented, cooling and so refreshing. I would recommend trying this if you have been in the sun lately to get some relief. I like the mist better than the aloe gel because it comes out as a spray and keeps your hands clean.
Patchology Pedi Cure is a 60 minute foot exfoliation system I have not tried this yet because I am waiting for winter time. I do not want to have peeling feel while I can still wear sandals. I will keep you updated on this one.
Measurable Difference Rose Hip Oil I really like this stuff. It smells just like roses. I have combination skin, mostly oil in my T-zone. I was skeptical to use a lot of this oil at first. I used one drop before bed to test it out for a week and built up to two drops. It glides over the skin and within minutes you can see it soak in. I love that the rose scent lingers after you put it on. I stay away from using this in the mornings because I already add an argan oil to my foundation. I don’t want to add too many oils. The bottle is HUGE so it will last me a long long time.
Thank you so much for reading! Until next time,
