Spring FabFitFun Box Review

Hello and welcome to the Spring FabFitFun box review. I’m going to be telling you all about the products I received in the Spring box and how I liked or didn’t like them.

Deborah Lippmann $19 for ‘Like A Virgin’ and ‘Shape of my Heart’ nail polish set Polish size is smaller than average and the bottle is unique. The colors are pretty and springy; perfect for this time of FullSizeRender 17year. The colors are very transparent and I needed at least three coats to get an even cover and get rid of the streaks. I used a base coat, three coats of the polish and a top coat. I did get quite a long wear out of them. The polish started chipping after about a week. Although this polish lasted a week with no chipping I still feel they are a little too expensive for a nail polish set. You can get two Sally Hansen Argan Oil polishes for under $14 and I could get a weeks wear out of them. Despite the cost I plan on looking into more colors that this brand has to offer.

I wore the Realher Women Rule the World lip gloss and lip pencil in Neutral Pink (full set is $48) recently and I must say, bravo. I love how creamy and easy to apply the lip pencil was. I could have worn this on it’s own but chose the gloss to wear on top. The lip gloss added a nice shine that wasn’t sticky or irritating at all. It applies kind of sticky but does not remain that way. The Neutral Pink shade I received is a great baby pink. Very cutesy without looking juvenile. This shade is great for this time of year. See below how I wore it.

Karuna Hydrating Face Masks These have a subtle floral scent to them which was different than some other sheet masks I’ve tried. I wore this mask for 15 minutes (suggested wear is between 10-20 minutes) and afterwards I did not need my night serum. My skin felt hydrated and cool, like someone was blowing cold air on my face. While I was wearing the mask I could feel a cooling sensation about 5 minutes in. I figured this was due to the fact that I was laying on my bed with the fan on overhead. I tried the mask again while in a bath and I did not get the cooling sensation at all.

Hair, Skin and Nails Gummies, yum! Two a day for improved hair, skin and nails. They’re good and easy to remember to take. I’ve been taking these for over a week now with minimal results. Thats not to say that prolonged usage will not show results but over a week I see nail growth for sure.

Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Age Defying Exfoliator($79) This smells like mint and Eucalyptus which I love. It has a very fine sand in it for exfoliating. I applied in light circle motions for 1-2 minutes as suggested and found that it did not dry out the whole time. I was able to rub this all over my face without struggle for the entire 1-2 minutes. I will stress the ‘gently’ part because I could tell I went a little too hard on my cheeks and they felt a little irritated afterwards. It washes off with little difficulty and left my skin feeling very smooth. I did spray on a toner but I feel that it is not necessary.

Briogeo Rosarco Milk leave-in conditioner spray ($20) I wash my hair every 3 days so it took me a little while to try this out. You can use this product on dry hair but I prefer to use it on damp hair. I’ve used it a couple times now and I like all the benefits this leave in conditioner has. It smells really nice and light too. I sprayed this all over my hair but focused a lot on my roots because I have so many flyaways. I like that this product can be used as a heat protectant too. I still add a heat protectant to my hair once it’s dry, before I use any styling tools. I found that my flyaways were still an issue but I will keep using to see if it helps control them in the long term.

Thank you so much for reading. Until next time – Ashley
